Quality Assurance Engineer

Works with design and manufacturing to ensure the overall quality of a manufactured product and is tasked with creating documentation, devising quality tests and defining the criteria a test result should meet. They play a key role in fixing issues when they arise.

  • Implements inspection plans for new projects and updates current projects as necessary
  • Supports design /manufacturing engineering in process validations, process control, process training programs, process improvement, risk management, and software validations and control
  • Develops protocols for validation, evaluates data, and writes reports
  • Performs studies on new equipment to establish control points and proper settings
  • Serves as resource for problem identification, improvement, and resolution
  • Prepares reports to evaluate effectiveness of quality systems
  • Provides support for customer representatives in regards to quality issues
  • Works cooperatively in a team environment to reach common results and goals
  • Develops and maintains quality standards and requirements for development and design projects


Seven years minimum in a quality / manufacturing discipline. PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA and APQP experience mandatory.  Familiarly with IATF 16949 and Minitab preferred. Literate in computer operating systems. Proficient user of MSOffice applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong communication skills and attention to detail. General office and clean room environment.  Frequent exposure to computers and manufacturing areas that includes noise, fumes and exposure to chemical substances.
