Leonardo Electronics US to Exhibit Laser Diodes for a Range of Applications in Munich

Leonardo Electronics US will be exhibiting at LASER World of PHOTONICS, June 24-27 in Munich, Germany. Our team will be showcasing capabilities in three major industries: automotive lidar, medical and industrial in booth 104, Hall A3. Show attendees can stop by the booth to talk through their system design challenges, discover our latest lidar source capabilities and see the following products on display:

  • 500W SWIR: an illuminator with output at eye-safe wavelengths
  • 1MW Laser Diode Array: the world’s highest brightness and power diode laser
  • Direct diode laser heater for heating and material processing applications

“Our team will be demonstrating our ability to produce custom products and systems for optimized performance in our key markets. For example, a project may start with our versatile T6 package at the core, but the full system may include customized optics, electronics and mechanics. With Leonardo Electronics US's engineering expertise across a range of disciplines and our customer-focused partnering approach, we are able to help our customers solve their unique challenges.” said Robert Walker, Leonardo Electronics US’s VP of Sales and Marketing.

Industry specialists from the Leonardo Electronics US team will also be attending the show with Robert and available for questions:

Leonardo Electronics US’s recent whitepaper, Making Waves: Nanosecond Pulsed Drivers for Flash Lidar, will be made available at the Munich conference in Leonardo Electronics US’s booth. This paper discusses key challenges associated with lidar system design specific to the nanosecond electric driver. A technical paper on carbon fiber placement, Carbon Fiber Composite Consolidation using Free-Space Direct Diodes, will also be available.
